Paweł SZCZESZEK – President of the Management Board

Graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and the Faculty of Management of the Częstochowa University of Technology. He also completed post-graduate studies in diplomacy in Toruń. In 2017–2018, he was Vice President of the Management Board of PGNiG Termika Energetyka Przemysłowa S.A. From 2016 to August 2017, he was Management Board President of Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej S.A. in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, previously Vice President of the Management Board of the Regional Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego) in Częstochowa, where he carried out more than a dozen projects co-financed from the European Union structural funds. He gained professional experience in public administration and “Porty Lotnicze” Sp. z o.o., a state-owned aviation firm where he was responsible for controlling the assets of Warsaw Okęcie airport. He participated in numerous conferences on energy and environmental issues, including in the 55th UN plenary session on climate change.

He passed the exam for candidates for members of supervisory boards of state-owned companies, confirmed by a diploma obtained from the Treasury Minister. He sat on supervisory boards of the following companies: Wojewódzkie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych w Katowicach Sp. z o.o., Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego w Częstochowie S.A., Radomskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej S.A. and SEJ-Serwis sp. z o.o. At present, he is a supervisory board member of PEC Geotermia Podhalańska S.A.

He has held the role of Management Board President of KOGENERACJA S.A. since 13 December 2018. Now he supervises the entire operations of the Company and its external relations; manages the work of the Management Board, supervises the Technical Directorate and the Support Directorate, the Health and Safety area, the payroll policy and personal data protection areas at the Company.

Paweł STRĄCZYŃSKI – Vice President of the Management Board

Graduated from the Oskar Lange Academy of Economics in Wrocław (currently Wrocław University of Economics), Faculty of National Economy, major: finance and banking and Master of Business Administration – Executive MBA, with a specialisation in SME management. In 2018, appointed Vice President of the Management Board of ZOWER Sp. z o.o. (a company from PGE Energia Ciepła Group). From 2016 to 2018, was a management board member of Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej S.A. and Spółka Energetyczna Jastrzębie S.A., and then of PGNiG Termika Energetyka Przemysłowa S.A. In the years 2010–2012, he was a management board member of PROTEKTOR S.A., and then of the companies from the Polish Biogas Group. In 2005–2010, he served as CFO and Attorney (prokurent) of the Polish division of Steinhoff International Holding. In the years 2002–2005, he was chief accountant in ASP Polska sp. o.o.

He has held the role of Vice President of the Management Board of KOGENERACJA S.A. since 29 November 2018. Now he supervises the Finance Directorate and the Trade and Development Directorate, including the operation of power equipment of the heating system owned by the Company. He is responsible for the commercial effects of the electricity and heat markets, certificates market and emission allowances market.

He has a joint responsibility with the Management Board President for implementation of social policy and maintaining the social cohesion at the Company.
